Cherilyn Child Fisher began drawing, painting, creating and having a passion for all that is artistic in elementary school.
Fortunately, her parents were both school teachers and let her make her "messes" and create at home until her heart was content!
A native Utah artist, she spent her childhood on a small farm near the Great Salt Lake and was voted student body artist at Clearfield High for the 1978-79 school year.
She studied art at Weber State University, married in 1980 and has three adult children.
She has worked for decades with both art and antiques and creates in oils, acrylics, watercolors, air brush and a variety of mixed mediums.
Cherilyn teaches children's classes at Lamplight Art Gallery and has helped many children develop the same talent that has given her so much joy since her own childhood.
