Every June, Lamplight Art Gallery is the center of activity for Bountiful's annual chalk festival, "Magic on the Sidewalk." Professional artists work just down the block from aspiring artists and families and children, creating temporary works of art to adorn the sidewalks. The festival is sponsored by the Joy Foundation, whose mission is "reaching into the community and putting an artistic arm around youth who may fall through the cracks."   Lamplight artists are proud to support this worthwhile effort.

Bountiful boasts many community events each summer.  A "cruise-in," features classic and unique cars, August's Summerfest features international art and dance.  Lamplight Art Gallery is often a presence at these events, supporting the arts in the community whenever there's an opportunity.

Gallery artists host an open house almost every month (a Halloween event in October pictured here -- not a hold-up!!).  The public is invited to these Friday-evening events, where they can meet the artists, enjoy hors d'oeuvres and celebrate the work of a different featured artist each month.
