Barbara Gustaveson will be exhibiting her peaceful watercolors and acrylics through August.  An artists' reception is scheduled for Friday, July 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the gallery, 170 South Main in Bountiful.  Barb is a teacher at Farmington Junior High and will be joined by another former junior high school art teacher, Laura Harris Archer.  Laura will exhibit her wood-block prints (an example below), and will also have her press on hand to demonstrate her work.  Please join us on Friday -- or anytime through the month to enjoy their art.

Our  next Art Night will focus on the work of Van Gogh.  Please join us to learn more about his style and his influence on Wednesday, July 14, at 7 p.m.  Other Art Nights will be held every other month on the second Tuesday. 

Also this month, gallery artist Scott Durrant's work can also be seen at the Patrick Moore Gallery in Salt Lake City.  Located at 2233 South 700 East , an open house is scheduled for July 16th between 6 and 9 p.m.  Seventeen artists affiliated with Clay Arts Utah will be exhibiting and Scott's two-dimensional abstracts will coordinate with their pottery.  The show runs through August 16.
